What it means

CL codes come from MTA's launcher, before the game starts: installing an update, finding GTA, loading MTA's own files or starting gta_sa.exe. MTA's own documentation gives this code as Wrong launcher filename.

How to fix it

Work down the list and stop when it is solved.

1. Start MTA from its own shortcut

   Use the normal MTA shortcut or Multi Theft Auto.exe in the MTA folder, not a renamed copy.

2. Repair your MTA installation

   Run the current installer from multitheftauto.com over your existing installation. It replaces MTA's own files without touching your settings.
