An in game browser page cannot load

An embedded web-page error is separate from a game connection error. Its full error text matters.

The message

ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Steps

Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.

  1. Approve only an expected trusted domain

    Only when MTA asks permission for the expected trusted domain.

    Only if MTA presents a domain-permission request for the page you intended to open, review the domain and allow it if you trust it. Then reopen that page. A missing permission and a certificate failure are different problems.

  2. Restore an actually disconnected connection

    Only for ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED with an independently disconnected connection.

    Only if the browser says ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED and ordinary websites also fail, reconnect your normal network first. Then reopen the in game page.

  3. Separate a broken page from the embedded browser

    For a public, trusted page, open its normal public address in your usual browser. If it fails there too, the page or connection also needs attention. Do not copy a URL containing login tokens into a public report.

    Careful: Do not bypass a certificate warning or disable HTTPS checks.

  4. Send the page owner its specific error

    For a wrong address, refused connection, unresolved domain or certificate failure that remains, give the server or page owner the error text and public domain. The owner may need to repair the URL or website; there is no verified universal client repair for all browser failures.

Worth knowing

Browser errors use their own namespace. Bare negative numbers are not auto-matched as game or download errors.
