MTA terminated due to an integrity violation

Update MTA, then check any overlay or antivirus block. These steps may help, but the message does not identify the cause.

Steps

Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.

1. Install the current official MTA update

   Close MTA, run the current installer from the official MTA site, then try the same action again.

2. Test without an overlay you actually use

   Only if that utility is installed and running.

   Only if you use an overlay or program that modifies the game such as RivaTuner or MSI Afterburner, fully exit that utility and retry MTA. Test one program at a time. Restore it if the result does not change.

   Careful: The message does not prove cheating or identify which program caused it.

3. Check a specific Bitdefender block

   Only if Bitdefender is installed and identifies the trusted executable as blocked.

   Only if Bitdefender identifies a trusted official MTA or GTA executable as blocked, review that notification. Its documented exception route is Protection → Advanced Threat Defense → Open → Settings → Manage exceptions → Add an Exception. Select only that executable, enable the exception for Advanced Threat Defense, and save.

   Careful: Keep protection enabled. Do not exclude a whole game folder or an unverified file.

4. Retest and remove an exception that did not help

   If you added that narrow exception, retry the same action once. Remove the exception through Manage exceptions if the failure is unchanged. If it persists on the current MTA build, tell MTA support the full message, build and whether it happened at launch or on a server.
