MTA:SA fix
MTA settings are not saved
MTA writes its settings when you leave the game normally. After a crash they can be lost. Save them by hand, or let MTA make a new settings file.
Steps
Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.
Set things up, then quit properly
Change your settings, then leave MTA with Quit instead of closing it another way or letting it crash. Start it again and check. The FAQ says settings should be saved this way.
Save at once from the console
Open the console with F8 and type saveconfig. MTA's command list says it saves the config immediately.
Let MTA make a new settings file
Close MTA. In the MTA folder open MTA, then config, and move coreconfig.xml somewhere else. Start MTA, set everything again and quit. The FAQ gives removing this file as the second fix.
Careful: This resets all MTA settings and key binds. Keep the old file so you can put it back.
Still stuck? The Fix tool reads MTA's own log on your computer and points at the matching steps. Nothing is uploaded.
