LSPD

LSPD, short for Los Santos Police Department, is the main police headquarters in Los Santos in CIT. It is the main law base in Los Santos where players join the law side, take police jobs, regroup, and use law tools.

How to get to LSPD

You can reach LSPD in these ways:

  • go to the front entrance of LSPD
  • use /lspd while under 20 playtime hours

/lspd teleports players under 20 playtime hours to the Los Santos department. Take the blue law job marker there to become a Police Officer.

Joining the police side at LSPD

To become a police officer at LSPD:

  • go to the LSPD front entrance
  • quit your current job if needed
  • enter the blue law job marker

It is one of the main places used by the law side during normal police work and organized law responses.

The LSPD yard is a Protected Area for police.

It is used to:

  • regroup
  • line up
  • prepare for riots
  • prepare for other law activity

The LSPD yard includes:

  • a police vehicle spawner
  • a blue Buy police vehicles here marker in the garage; press Z in it to open Vehicle Sales
  • a weapon shop
  • a rapid transporter
  • vehicle recovery pads
  • a Pay 'n' Spray marker in the garage
  • a marker to reach the LSPD roof

What to do after joining at LSPD

After becoming a cop:

  • open the Police Computer with F5
  • find wanted players
  • send them to jail by killing them or arresting them with the nightstick
  • use /wl to check wanted stars
  • use /apb to see APB targets

Most players kill wanted suspects instead of arresting them with the nightstick.

A non-kill arrest pays the same as a solo kill arrest: the full formula amount with your police-level bonus and VIP. This applies on station delivery, surrender, quitting, or a nearby wanted player killing themselves.

Cops can kill wanted criminals, and it counts the same as arresting them with the nightstick. A non violent criminal needs at least 30 Wanted Points for a kill arrest.

Protected interior and respawn

The LSPD interior is a Protected Area with 2 entrances and is limited to cops and civilians. If you stand near a gathering in the yard, line up and follow the host's orders.

After dying, police can respawn at the LSPD safe area near Ammunation or at a hospital.

The LSPD garage also has a petrol station. The LSPD and SFPD Police shops sell Sultan, Cheetah, Shelby, Premier, and Sentinel, and /mp works in those cars.

Buying a police vehicle

Enter the blue Buy police vehicles here marker in the yard garage and press Z to open Vehicle Sales.
