APB means All Points Bulletin. It is a server wide alert for very wanted criminals.

/apb shows current APB targets and locations. APBs show as a star blip on the map.

Police notes

• Police can use /trackapbs to track current APBs. Use it again to stop tracking.
• APBs can enter indoor Criminal Events.
• APBs can enter a Criminal Event even when the criminal team is full.
• Wanted players cannot leave a Criminal Event after entering.
• An APB who enters LV is removed from LV.
• Players who were APB in the last 30 minutes cannot join Police Service.
• An APB is removed when the player is arrested, dies, or quits while a cop is nearby.
• /qs apbjailed shows your total number of APBs jailed.

Thresholds

The first automatic APB needs 1000 Wanted Points. Every active APB raises the next threshold by 100, so the sequence continues through 1100, 1200, 1300, and higher values. There is no fixed maximum of 3 active APBs.

Alerts and Tracking

When an APB is posted, players see:

<name> posted an APB on <name>, assist in arresting them!

A player with an active APB has this above their head:

!!! APB !!!

Use /apb to see the current APB target and location. It also shows whether the target is inside an Armed Robbery.

The APB target gets a yellow star blip.

Who Can See APBs

APB alerts are visible to both police and criminals.

How APB Ends

An APB is removed when the target:

• gets arrested
• dies
• quits while a cop is nearby

The Top 100 Criminals and Top 100 Police lists include APB statistics.

• Players who were APB in the last 30 minutes cannot join Police Service.

Rewards, assistance, and combat

• Becoming an APB awards $150,000.
• A cop who kills an APB receives $150,000.
• With one kill assister, the killer receives $100,000 and the assister receives $50,000.
• An APB can only be hurt by cops and can only hurt cops.
• A criminal near an APB receives wanted for assisting only if that criminal is already wanted.
• The APB Assist setting disables nearby APB assistance wanted and payment.
• The current APB name is also shown in CITPhone > Event Times.
