'''Squads''' are smaller teams inside a group in CIT. They have their own member management, chat channels, allied squad communication, applications, utilities, and interior related features.
'''Squads''' work like a second, smaller group in CIT. A squad can be a sub-group or an independent second group, and you can belong to one without being in a group. Squads have their own member management, chat channels, allied squad communication, applications, utilities, and interior related features.

Current history filters

/grouphistory and /squadhistory support an action filter, inclusive From and To date fields in YYYY-MM-DD format, and text search. Only group history has Copy All Lines. Use /copygrouplog to copy group history and /copysquadlog to copy squad history.

/squadhistory opens the Squad Log window. It can also be titled Squad Log - Full History. The squad action filter offers All, Joins, Departures, Kicks, Promotes, Demotes, and Blacklist, with no bank or alliance choice.

/myhistory is different. It shows account history stored locally on the player's computer.

Squad radio

Squads have squad radio, a copy of group radio. Its commands are /sradio, /mutesr, and /syncsr. Choose the song to play in /sradio; after that song, the radio plays the next one automatically. /mutesr disables squad radio and shows Squad radio is now disabled.

Squad member slots and blacklist copy

Open F6 > Squad Members, enter the number of slots in Amount, and use Buy Squad Slots. Each squad slot costs $10,000. The window also shows the current slot counter.

Open the squad blacklist and use Copy Blacklist at the bottom of the window to copy its entries. Select an entry and use Edit Selected to change its Reason or Duration (Days); 0 means permanent. Entries are ordered by last edited date. This order only covers entries added or edited from 25 September 2026 onward, because earlier edit times are not stored. The columns are Added By, Account Involved (or Serial Involved), Reason, Expires in (Days), and Last modified. The serial tab uses Add Serial. The edit window shows the account name, Reason, and Duration (Days) (Use 0 for permanent), with Save and Cancel.

Organization Center

Open F6 or use /groupsquadunit for squad controls. Overview links to Squad Overview, Members, Bank, and Alliance. Eligible players can join their country squad through F6 > Overview > Join Country Squad.

Squad capacity is capped at 90 members. In F6, open Squad Members, enter the amount, and use Buy Squad Slots for $10,000 per slot.

Level 1 and forum sub-board

A squad reaches Level 1 by receiving a squad sub-board on the CIT forum. Level 1 or higher squads can use the squad bank to deposit and withdraw.

Squad Bank shows the squad balance, Cash on hand and Your bank balance deposit rows, and a PIN box. Each row has its own Deposit button. Withdraw is hidden for ordinary members. The small windows ask for Deposit reason or Withdraw reason; deputies can check deposits in /squadhistory. Deposits require a reason and are limited to 5 per 5 minutes.

A sub-board application requires an in game squad in F6, at least 20 active members for a Law, Criminal, or Miscellaneous squad, at least 1 month of continuous activity, and a good reputation. Members inactive for more than 7 days do not count toward the active member requirement. A squad may apply once per month.

Revoking an invite

A squad invite can be revoked after it is sent.

Current squad display and access rules

  • The F6 Squad Members list shows Last rank change as Today or an age in days. Only changes from 10/5/25 (10 May 2025) onward have dated records; older changes show Before 10/5/25.
  • Squad blips are disabled while you are in LV.
  • Setting Enable Squad Blips to No also hides your own blip from squad members.
  • Groups and squads with a player or vehicle shader are not deleted by the inactivity checker. Other groups need at least 2 members to avoid deletion.
  • Squad tag protection is unavailable. A group with a forum board may request one protected tag.
  • The Discord bot is restricted to Level 1 or higher groups and squads. It also needs permission to manage channels and send messages.
  • A normal mute does not block group, squad, unit, FMSG, or local friends chat. A full mute blocks them.
  • Squad application actions and status changes are stored in /myhistory.

Member activity and rewards

The F6 Squad Members Activity score is individual account activity out of 1000. It loses 1 per inactive hour and gains 1 per online minute. It is not a group average. To reward squad members with money, press F6, open the Squad tab, and use Squad Reward. /groupreward pays group members only. In CIT Squad member rewards, use the Member / Account name list and Search..., choose Reward selected squad member or Reward all online squad members, then enter Amount: and Reason: and press Reward.

Frozen peds

Squads with an interior can add up to 3 frozen peds near their teleport marker. /addsquadped copies skin, shader, animation, and weapon. Aim at a ped and use /delsquadped to remove it.

Chat and map visibility

Open /settings > General > SQUAD. Enable Squad Blips shows squad members on the map when set to Yes. Setting it to No also hides your own squad blip from your squadmates. Squad blips are disabled in LV. Enable Squad Member Names in F11 separately controls whether squad members' names appear on the F11 map. Both settings default to Yes.

Open /settings > General > SQUAD and select Enable Squad Chat. Choose No + No Squad Staff Chat to hide Squad Chat and Squad Staff Chat. No hides Squad Chat, and Yes enables Squad Chat in your chatbox. The default is Yes.

Personal and shared chat color

Use /squadchatcolor R G B to change the squad chat color for everyone. To change only your own chatbox, use Squad Chat Color under /settings > Interface > CHAT COLORS. Enter R G B, with each number from 0 to 255, or use Open Color Picker. Leave it blank to use the squad's color. The personal setting defaults to blank.

Loading the full history

Organization history initially loads only the last month. Click Request Full History to load the whole log. /grouphistory and /squadhistory include an action filter, inclusive From and To dates in YYYY-MM-DD, text search, and a shown-actions counter. Only the group log has Copy All Lines; use /copysquadlog for squad history.
