Group Promotion & Punishment System

The promotion and punishment system ensures that groups maintain fair play, high activity, and adherence to the rules. The system provides clear guidelines on how groups can level up and what they need to maintain in order to stay at their current level. Below is a breakdown of how the system works, the punishments for breaking rules, and the requirements for group promotion.

1. Punishment Checking

Punishment Levels and Automatic Consequences

  • Warning: A group receives a warning if they surpass 70% of the punishments.
  • Demotion: If a group reaches 100% of punishments, the system will automatically demote them to a lower group level.

Punishment Types and Percentage Breakdown

Multipliers Based on Group Level

Each group level has a multiplier for the punishments that increase as the group level increases.

Group Level Multiplier
L1 - L5 x1
L6 x1.2
L7 x1.4
L8 x1.6
L9 x1.8
L10 x2

Punishment Cooling Off Period

  • Cooldown: After a punishment is issued, a 7-day cooldown period begins. During this time, the punishment percentage will not decrease.
  • Punishment Recovery: If no further punishments occur for 7 days, the group's punishment percentage will decrease by 1% daily.

Evading Punishment

Any group member who attempts to evade punishment by leaving the group will have their punishment counted toward the group’s total punishment percentage. Any continuous attempts to bypass punishments will result in harsher actions.

2. Activity Checking

Required Activity for Group Levels

To maintain the current level, the group must meet the required activity percentage each month:

Group Type L6 L7 L8 L9
Criminals/Gangsters 100% 110% 120% 130%
Civilian Workers 80% 90% 100% 110%
Police Service 90% 100% 110% 120%
  • Minimum Activity: If a group fails to meet these requirements, a warning will be issued. If not corrected within the next review, the group will be demoted.

Average Playtime Calculation

The activity is calculated based on total minutes played per day divided by the total days checked.

3. Member Count and Group Behavior

  • Member Limit: If a group gains more than 20 new members in a month before the review, a warning will be issued.
  • Activity Requirement: A group needs to maintain active members to ensure the group level stays intact.

Warnings and Demotions

  • Demoted Groups: Groups that are demoted cannot apply for promotion until they are reviewed and reconfirmed again, which will take place in 1 month.

Promotion Requests

  • Promotion to L5 and above: Groups must apply for promotion. The review will be based on the group's statistics, punishments, activity, and member behavior.
  • Denial of Promotion: If a group is denied a promotion, they must wait 4 weeks before applying again.

4. Group Promotion Process

(L1 to L4)

You can request for L1 from here, an autonomous script will automatically promote your group every month as long as the activity is stable and your /groupstats show "eligible for promotion". If the group activity falls below 25%, it will be demoted by the system and this cannot be adjusted by the GLM team. Also, a new limitation has been added that is concerns every single group on the server. If a group receives a 100% punishment rate, it will be demoted automatically by the script.

(L4 to L9)

Groups can request their promotion on their group profile. GLM's will be checking the group if it's ready for the next level or not by looking at those parameters.

Before applying for a group promotion, you should follow the time gaps provided below.

  • 2 months to apply for L5 after last promotion.
  • 2 months to apply for L6 after last promotion.
  • 3 months to apply for L7 after last promotion.
  • 4 months to apply for L8 after last promotion.
  • 5 months to apply for L9 after last promotion.

Promotion Requirements

Promotion can only be requested after a certain time gap and meeting the required activity.

Level Gap Time to Wait After Last Promotion
L1 to L5 2 months
L5 to L6 2 months
L6 to L7 3 months
L7 to L8 4 months
L8 to L9 5 months

5. AI Detection & Verification

To prevent AI-generated applications, any application found with AI-generated content will be flagged. The GLMs will review the application, and if they find any issues with it, the application will be denied.

  • AI Detection: Applications made using AI tools like Pangram will be flagged and rejected.
  • Punishment Checking: Applications with 40% or more punishments will be immediately rejected.

6. Special Rules and Group Behavior

  • Group Exploitation: Groups found exploiting server-related systems or script bugs will be investigated and punished accordingly.
  • Punishment Evading: Groups that attempt to evade punishment by leaving the group will face consequences, including punishment being added to the group's total.

Rules might change from time to time, so be sure to check the main post which is Official Group Level System
