Ingame Chat Types

CIT offers a wide range of chat channels to help players communicate effectively based on language, role, or activity. Here’s what each chat type is for:

Support

• For asking gameplay-related questions.
• Only staff, or experienced players should answer. avoid giving wrong information.

Support Non-English

• For non-English speakers to request help in their native language.

Contact Admin

• Used to message staff with important or urgent issues.
• Misuse may result in punishment.

Trading

• For buying, selling, properties, items, etc.

My Country

• Chat limited to players from the same country.

Main

• Global server-wide chat. (Besides LV main chat)
• English only; all players can see your message.

Team

• Criminal, cop, or Civilian chat. (depends on your occupation)

Local

• Visible to players around you (within a small range).

Group

• For communication with your group members only.

Squad

• Like group chat, but for squads.

Unit

• Like group chat, but for Units.

Alliance

• Chat between allied groups.
• /alliance

squadally

• For squads that are allied.

SMSs

• Private messages to another player
• You can also reply with /re.

FMSG

• Friends message — only friends in your CITBook can see this.

Kills

• Displays kill messages.
• Includes who killed who, using what, etc.

JoinQuit

• Shows who joined or left the server.

Name Changes

• Shows nickname changes in real time.
• Helps spot alt accounts or trolls.

Emergency

• For law units to send urgent tactical messages.
• Misuse may result in punishment.

Donator

• Available only to donators with VIP levels

Super Advert

• Announcements from Superadvert system.
• Requires /superadvert and in-game money to post.

Duties

• Available only to players with duties. (GLM,CEM,PC,CB,SO, etc..)

Ignored

• Messages by players you have in your /ignore list.

Car Chat

• Chat limited to players inside the same vehicle.

Dev Chat

• Used by developers.

Arabic, Russian, Turkish

• Language-specific global chats.

All

• Combines all visible chat types above.
