Armed Robbery (AR)

Overview

Armed Robbery (AR) is a random Cops n Robbers event that spawns at preset robbery spots. Criminals and gangsters go to the active AR location, aim at the AR ped to start it, and stay alive for 3 minutes to earn rewards. Police enter after the Anti Rush delay and try to eliminate the criminals.

AR is different from Criminal Events (CE). AR is an outdoor event. CE is an interior event.

How to start

  1. Find the active AR location.
  2. Go to the AR ped that says "Aim at me to rob".
  3. Aim at the ped to start the robbery.
  4. Stay alive for 3 minutes to complete the AR.

Starting peds

You can aim at either of two peds to start an armed robbery at all 24 armed robbery locations.

How to find the AR

You can find the active AR in several ways:

  • Look for the red money bag blip on your minimap.
  • Open the F11 map and look for red bag icons.
  • Use /arl to see the current AR name, time left, and how many criminals and cops are inside.
  • Use /arl update to pin a small live readout on the bottom right of your screen.
  • Use /gps and follow the gun icon to the AR spot.

Commands and keys

Command or key What it does
/arl Shows the current AR name, seconds left, and criminal and cop counts on the top middle of your screen
/arl update Pins a small live AR readout on the bottom right and updates automatically; use it again to remove it
/gps Can be used to follow the gun icon to the AR location
F11 Opens the map where AR markers show as red bag icons

Anti Rush and Danger Level

Anti Rush (cop entry delay)

Anti Rush delays police from entering the AR based on Danger Level.

Danger Level Cop entry delay
Below 1.2 120 seconds
1.2 or higher 60 seconds
1.6 or higher 10 seconds

Danger Level (what it affects)

Danger Level affects:

  • The Anti Rush delay
  • How fast or slow the robbery timer counts down

Robbery timer speed (by Danger Level)

Danger Level changes the robbery timer speed:

Danger Level Robbery timer speed
0.6 30 percent faster
0.8 or less 20 percent faster
1.0 or less 10 percent faster
2.0 to 2.2 10 percent slower
2.4 to 2.6 20 percent slower
2.8 or more 30 percent slower

How to check Danger Level

  • Cops can also press F5 to open the Police Computer and see the current Danger Level.
  • AFK cops are not counted in the Danger Level calculation.

Completing an AR gives:

  • $34,500
  • 100g random drug (including Weed)

You can pickpocket players during an armed robbery.

Cooldown rules for pickpocketing:

  • 60 second cooldown between pickpocket attempts on the same player

Tips

  • Use /arl update so you can keep track of the timer and counts without retyping.
  • If you are going for special materials, deal damage to cops during the AR so the special reward is not halved.
  • Police should wait for Anti Rush, then push together.
