CIT Vehicles

In CIT, vehicles are integral to many activities, from racing and criminal missions to simply getting around San Andreas. This guide will provide the basics on how to buy, sell, modify, and manage your vehicles, as well as cover more advanced vehicle features like damage resistance, fuel management, and drive types.

1. How to Buy a Vehicle

To buy a vehicle in CIT, follow these simple steps:

  1. Locate a Vehicle Shop: Look for a blue car icon on your radar. Vehicle shops sell different types of vehicles, and each shop might offer a unique selection.
  2. Use the /gps Command: If you're unsure where to find a vehicle shop, simply type /gps to find the nearest one.
  3. Select Your Vehicle: Once you’re at the vehicle shop, choose the car you wish to purchase and follow the in-game prompts to buy it.

2. How to Sell a Vehicle

Selling a vehicle is easy in CIT. Here’s how:

  1. Press F2: Open the vehicle menu by pressing F2 while in-game.
  2. Choose the Vehicle: Select the car you want to sell from the menu.
  3. Click 'Sell': Confirm the sale by clicking the 'Sell' button in the upper part of the GUI.

Note: Selling a vehicle will result in a 20% loss in its resale value and you'll get 90% of the engine parts back.

3. How to Refuel a Vehicle

You can refuel your vehicle in CIT by visiting fuel stations:

  1. Drive to a Fuel Station: Look for the white circle on your radar at any fuel station.
  2. Refuel: Enter the marker and hold space to refuel your vehicle.
  3. Jerry Can: You can also use a Jerry Can to refuel your vehicle by pressing X and clicking on the vehicle.

Extra Tip: Completing the Basic Fuel Skills in /courses grants your vehicle an additional 20% fuel.

4. How to Repair a Vehicle

1. Repairing Your Vehicle as a Mechanic

If you are a Mechanic, you can repair vehicles without visiting a shop. To repair a vehicle:

  1. Become a Mechanic: You must be employed as a Mechanic to repair vehicles.
  2. Repair the Vehicle: Approach the damaged vehicle and press X then on the vehicle and use the repair option to fix it.

2. Using Pay ‘n Spray

  1. Locate a Pay ‘n Spray: Use /gps to find the nearest Pay ‘n Spray on the map.
  2. Enter the Shop: Drive your vehicle into the Pay ‘n Spray shop and your vehicle will be repaired automatically.

3. Using a Repair Kit

If you're not near a Pay ‘n Spray and you're not a Mechanic, you can use a Repair Kit to fix your vehicle. Here’s how:

  1. Obtain a Repair Kit:
    • You can buy repair kits from F7 market.
    • Alternatively, you can craft a repair kit using F9 crafting.
  2. Use the Repair Kit:
