Squads

Squads are smaller teams inside a group in CIT. They give members their own management tools, communication tools, applications, alliances, blips, and interior-related features.

Overview

A squad is:

  • a smaller team inside a group

Squads are managed through:

  • F6
  • /groupsquadunit

Squad systems include:

  • member management
  • invites
  • applications
  • countdowns
  • chat tools
  • destination blips
  • quizzes
  • squad alliances
  • interior-related features

How to open the squad system

To open the Group, Squad, and Unit panel, use:

  • F6
  • /groupsquadunit

This is the main place used to manage squads.

Creating a squad

To create a squad:

  • press F6
  • enter the squad name
  • click Create Squad

Inviting players

To invite a player to your squad:

  • press F6
  • click Invite player to squad
  • enter the player name or account name

Offline invites can be entered by:

  • account name

Leaving or deleting a squad

To leave a squad as founder:

  • promote someone else to founder first

To delete a squad:

  • use Delete Squad
  • fill the required fields
  • confirm the deletion

Viewing the squad

To access squad controls and squad-related menus:

  • open F6
  • open the squad section in the Group, Squad, and Unit panel

To see which squad members are online, use:

/squadonline

Squad member slots

A squad starts with its normal slot count and can be expanded.

To buy more squad member slots, use:

/buysquadslots <amount>

Each extra squad slot costs:

  • $10,000

The squad member cap is:

  • 90 members

Squad communication

Squads have their own communication and coordination tools.

Squad Message of the Day

To set a squad message of the day, use:

/ssmotd

Squad chat color

To change the squad chat color for everyone, use:

/squadchatcolor R G B

Members can still change how the chat looks for themselves in:

  • /settings

Countdown

To start a squad countdown, use:

/squadcountd

Squad destination blips

To place squad destination blips, use:

/msd

To remove one squad destination blip, use:

/msd remove ID

To clear all squad destination blips, use:

/msd remove

Squad quizzes

Squads also have a quiz system.

To open the squad quiz panel, use:

/squiz

To answer a squad quiz, use:

/asq <answer>

Squad applications

Squads have their own application access inside the squad system.

To access Squad Applications:

  • press F6
  • open the Squad Applications button

Squad alliances

Squads can have allied squads.

To manage allied squads, use:

/squadalliance

Squad whitelist and blacklist

Squad whitelist

To manage which players or squads are allowed to use your squad shaders, use:

/squadwhitelist

Squad blacklist

To blacklist accounts or serials from the squad, use:

/squadblacklist

Squad history

To copy the squad history to your clipboard, use:

/copysquadlog

Squad blips

Squad blips appear as:

  • circles with an S

They use:

  • the squad member's job color

If you want classic squad blips, use:

  • /settings
  • set Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips to Yes

Squad spawns

The squad spawn limit is:

  • 5 players

Only 5 players can spawn at a squad spawn.

Squad interiors

Squads can request interiors.

The active request type is:

  • Group and Squad Interior Maps

Interior requirements

To request a squad interior:

  • the squad must have had a squad board for 4 months
  • it must meet the minimum requirements to have a board

If a squad recently lost its interior:

  • it can request a new one again after 4 months

Interior object limit

A mapped squad interior can use up to:

  • 110 objects

Squad interior features

Squads with an interior can use several features near the teleport marker or interior area.

Automatic base auto-heal

Groups or squads that own a base or interior get:

  • automatic base auto-heal

Frozen peds

Squads with an interior can add up to:

  • 3 frozen peds near their teleport marker

Use:

  • /addsquadped

Static vehicles

Squads with an interior can add up to:

  • 2 static vehicles near their teleport marker

Use:

  • /addstaticveh squad

These static vehicles are:

  • client-sided
  • frozen so they cannot be moved
  • copied with the current vehicle's modifications and upgrades

Vehicle respawn colsphere

Every group that received its interior can request:

  • a special vehicle respawn colsphere that lets non-VIP members recover their cars near the interior

Info marker

If a squad is missing an info marker near its place:

Squads can request an info marker logo for:

  • $15,000,000

This requires:

  • a base or interior with an info marker nearby

The image must be:

  • PNG
  • no larger than 256x256
  • transparent background
  • resembling a logo

Squad board

To get a squad subboard:

  • improve the squad's activity
  • meet the squad subboard requirements listed in the Official Squads Guide topic

Notes

  • Restricted squad commands still depend on founder or rank permissions.
  • There is no separate squad custom respawn request feature listed here.
  • Squad interior-related features are handled through squad interior rules and nearby interior features instead.
