Emergency Chat is the law-side coordination chat in CIT. It is used for law codes, quick law alerts, backup calls, regrouping, and fast coordination during law activity.
Overview
`Emergency Chat` is a police communication channel used for urgent law-related messages.
It is used for:
- law codes
- quick law alerts
- backup requests
- regrouping
- law-side coordination
It is not used for:
- normal discussion
- casual conversation
How to use it
To talk in `Emergency Chat`, use:
/e <message>
This sends your message to the law-side emergency channel.
What it is used for
`Emergency Chat` is used for fast law communication during active situations.
Examples listed for it include:
- `Armed Robbery`
- `Criminal Events`
- riots
It is also used when law players need to:
- call for backup
- regroup
- coordinate responses

`Emergency Chat` uses law codes.

Where to view it
`Emergency Chat` appears in the `J` chat interface as:
- `Emergency`
It is also listed as one of the special chat tabs.

Chatbox setting
There is a setting for law chat messages.
To control whether law chat messages are shown in the chatbox:
- open
/settings - change `Show Law Chat`
This setting shows or hides law chat messages starting with:
[E]
Notes
- `Emergency Chat` is for urgent law communication.
- It is not for normal discussion.
- Law codes can be learned from
F1 > Documentationor/codes. - `Emergency Chat` is separate from `Duties Chat`.
