MTA:SA fix
MTA file version mismatch or incompatible network module
Replace mixed client files with one complete current installation.
Network module not compatible
Codes on this page: CL40
Steps
Try one step, then check whether the problem is still there. Follow any "only if" line before changing a setting.
Close every running MTA instance
Stop the launcher and game before replacing client files.
Install one complete official release
Run the current official MTA installer for the installation you use. Do not mix netc.dll or other modules from old downloads with a newer client.
Check that your shortcut opens that copy
Retry from the updated installation. If it still reports a mismatch, include the complete module name and displayed versions in a support request.
Still stuck? The Fix tool reads MTA's own log on your computer and points at the matching steps. Nothing is uploaded.
