GIU is a separate reward system
This calculator is for ordinary police kill or arrest pay. It does not estimate GIU payments. The GIU job window reports reduced police payments, but the exact multiplier and conditions are not established. GIU turf rewards are a separate system, shared across active GIU officers on duty.
How police kill pay works
The calculator estimates money from killing or jailing a wanted player.
Inputs:
- Wanted Points
- danger level
- police level
- bounty or hit amount
- payout share
- taser split
Base formula
The base formula is:
floor(wantedPoints * 70 * dangerLevel) + 5000
At danger level 1.0, the base rate is $70 per wanted point plus a $5,000 flat bonus before bonuses and reductions.
The normal jail payout is capped at $50,000 per cop after that cop's police-level bonus. The 20% VIP bonus is added after the cap, allowing $60,000, or $120,000 during hourly Double Earnings.
GIU cannot arrest or interact with wanted suspects. The GIU job window reports reduced police payments, but the exact multiplier and conditions are not established, so do not use the ordinary police formula for GIU. Shared turf rewards are separate.
On shared kills, split the base payout first. Each cop's share gets their own police-level multiplier, then their own $50,000 cap. Round down each step and add the 20% VIP bonus last. A high-wanted kill can pay both killer and helper up to $50,000 each, or $60,000 each with VIP.

If another officer tased the player before the jail or kill, the taser officer gets 50%, capped at $25,000, then later kill or assist money comes from the reduced half.
