Duties Chat

Duties Chat is the duty-chat tab in CIT. It groups several duty-related chats under one place in the `J` chat interface.

Overview

`Duties Chat` is used to view duty-related chat messages in one tab.

It groups chats such as:

  • `GLM`
  • `PC`
  • `CB`
  • `CEM`
  • `SO`

It is part of the `J` chat interface.

How to open Duties Chat

To open `Duties Chat`:

  • press J
  • open `Duties Chat`

This is the listed place where grouped duty chats appear.

What it includes

The listed duty chats grouped under `J > Duties Chat` include:

  • `GLM`
  • `PC`
  • `CB`
  • `CEM`
  • `SO`

These are duty-related chats for specific roles and positions.

Related duty chats

The listed duty-chat commands include:

Chat Command Used by
`CB` /cb `Criminal Bosses`
`SO` /so `State Officials`
`PC` /pc `Police Chiefs`
`CEM` /cem `CEMs`

Chatbox visibility

Duty chat messages can also be shown in the normal chatbox.

The relevant setting is:

  • `Show Duty Chats in Chat Box`

If enabled:

  • duty chat messages are shown in the chat box

If disabled:

  • duty chat messages are hidden from the chat box

If you cannot see Duties Chat messages

If duty messages are missing:

  • press J
  • open the correct chat tab
  • make sure `Show in chatbox` is enabled

Difference from other chats

`Duties Chat` is for grouped duty-related role chats.

It is separate from:

  • public chats like `Main Chat`
  • law alert chats like `Emergency Chat`

Notes

  • `Duties Chat` is a viewer tab in `J`.
  • It groups several duty chats together instead of being one single command by itself.
