New Player Features

New Player Features are the starter benefits, temporary bonuses, labels, and onboarding tools that new players get when they join CIT.

Overview

When a new player joins CIT, they receive:

  • starter cash
  • starter bank money
  • starter drugs
  • free starter vehicles at white markers
  • temporary `VIP` benefits
  • temporary `Rapid Transport` access
  • a visible hours-played label above their head
  • on-screen help messages
  • tutorial access
  • automatic access to `Help your country`

Starter rewards

New players start with:

  • $150,000 cash
  • $5,000 in the bank
  • 15 hits of each drug

New `Civilian` players also get:

  • an extra $50,000

This means a new `Civilian` player starts with:

  • $200,000 cash

Free starter vehicles

New players get:

  • free $5,000 vehicles at white markers

Temporary VIP benefits

New players keep:

  • `VIP` benefits until they reach 10 hours of playtime

Temporary Rapid Transport access

New players can use:

  • /rt while they are under 15 hours of playtime

New player hours label

New players show an hours-played label above their head.

This appears as:

  • 1H to 15H

These labels are used for new players.

On-screen help messages

New players get:

  • on-screen help messages

These are tips for new players, such as telling you to press J to open chat.
