Getting Started in CIT
Welcome to CIT! Whether you're new or returning, this guide will help you quickly understand how to begin your journey, choose a path, and explore everything the game has to offer.
1. Get a Vehicle
Before doing anything else, you’ll need a way to move around.
- Buy a Vehicle: Visit any Vehicle Shop (e.g., LS Mall) on the map to purchase a car, bike, or other transportation, Open F11 Map and look for the vehicle blip (when you press F11 a list of blips and what they mean will appear on the top left)
- Manage Your Vehicles: Press F2 to view, spawn, and recover owned vehicles.
- Budget Tips: Choose a cheap and reliable vehicle at the start. Faster or more stylish options can come later as you earn money.
2. Pick a Team
There are four main sides in CIT. Choose one to access different activities and missions:
🔴 Criminal
- Type
/criminal
in chat. - Press F3 to explore criminal jobs and money-making options.
- Participate in robberies, heists, and criminal events.
🔵 Police (Cop)
- Type
/lspd
and enter the job marker at LSPD. - Arrest criminals, respond to crimes, and maintain order.
- Earn Law Points and rank up within the police system.
🟡 Civilian
- Type
/jobs
, visit LS Mall, or go to any job marker. - Access a variety of civilian jobs (e.g., Mechanic, Trucker, Farmer).
- Focus on peaceful money-making and skill-based professions.
🟣 Gangster
- Type
/gangster
and make sure you're in a group. - Engage in turf wars and rival gang fights.
- Earn from controlling areas and doing gang-related missions.
3. Join a Group or Squad
Groups and squads are crucial for teamwork and progression:
- Press F6 to open the Group Control Panel.
- Browse existing groups or create your own squad.
- Access shared group bank, group-specific jobs, and turf territories.
- Use group/squad chat for coordination.

4. Explore the World & Complete Missions
After joining a team, explore San Andreas and take on missions:
- Map Exploration: Use
/gps
or F11 to locate job areas, stores, and events. - Role-Specific Missions: Each team has unique tasks with different goals and rewards.
5. Vehicle Maintenance
- Vehicle Repairs: Use Pay n Spray Shops or carry Repair Kits to keep your vehicle running. (use /gps to locate them)
6. Tips for Success
- Earning Money: Each side has its own profitable methods—explore them!
- Criminals: Turfing, Heists, Robberies
- Civilians: Jobs like Pizza Boy, Delivery Man, or Truck Driver
