F9 Crafting

F9 Crafting is CIT's main crafting system. It is used to turn gathered or traded materials into survival items, food, vehicle items, melee weapons, throwables, travel items, misc items, ammo, and some weapon mods.

You can open it with:

  • F9
  • /crafting

Overview

The F9 Crafting system lets players craft items from resources such as:

If you have the needed materials, you can craft through F9 anywhere.

How to open Crafting

To open the crafting interface:

  • press F9
  • or use /crafting

How crafting works

To craft an item:

  1. open F9
  2. choose the item you want
  3. make sure you have the required materials
  4. craft the item

You can also:

  • click an item to see its recipe
  • use bulk crafting for most items if you have enough materials

Ammo

Many ammo types are craftable in F9.

The KB confirms that:

  • most ammo uses Iron and Explosives
  • some ammo types also use Oil
  • shotgun ammo uses Oil

Weapon mods

F9 crafting also includes weapon mods for supported weapons.

Things you cannot craft

You cannot craft guns directly.

You can craft:

  • ammo
  • weapon mods

but not guns themselves.

What crafted items are used for

Jerry Can

A Jerry Can is used to refuel a vehicle when it runs out of fuel.

To use it:

  • get out of the vehicle
  • press X
  • click the vehicle
  • use Refuel Vehicle

Repair Kit

A Repair Kit can be crafted in F9, bought from players on F7, or replaced by other repair methods like Pay n Spray or a Mechanic.

O2 Tank

An O2 Tank lets you breathe underwater for 3 minutes without running out of oxygen.

Diamond Wedding Ring

A Diamond Wedding Ring is used for marriage.

The KB confirms:

  • you need 2 rings if you want to marry someone
  • then use /marry [PlayerName]
  • the other player uses /marryconfirm [PlayerName]

Armor (Kevlar)

Armor (Kevlar) is crafted from Kevlar.

The KB confirms that:

  • Kenaf is grown in a basement
  • Kenaf is harvested with a Katana
  • Kenaf is processed into Kevlar
  • Kevlar is then used in F9 to craft Armor (Kevlar)

A full harvest of 35 plants can make:

  • 21 Kevlar
  • 21 armor sets
