Groups

Groups are player made organizations in CIT. They give members shared chat, management tools, rewards, group perks, alliances, bases, group jobs, and teamwork features.

Gangster groups also use groups for turfing.


Quick group management

Use F6 or /groupsquadunit to open the Group, Squad, and Unit panel.

Groups give access to:

  • /gapps
  • /groupreward
  • group level perks

Gangster groups also use groups for turfing.

F6 Group tab

The F6 Group tab can show:

  • Group Level
  • Job Name
  • Turf Color
  • Vehicle shaders
  • Skin shaders
  • Online players
  • Total players
  • Graffiti
  • custom group logos for groups that have one set

Buttons can include group list, invites, blacklist, whitelist, info, ranks, history, members, bank, applications, group job, custom skin, alliance, and leave group.

Useful group commands

Command Use Notes
/groupsquadunit Opens F6 group, squad, and unit panel Same main management panel.
/grouponline <groupName> Shows another group online list Named lookup.
/gapps Opens group applications /gapps <groupName> opens a specific group application.
/gmotd <message> Sets group message of the day /gmotd with no message removes it.
/gsmotd <message> Sets group staff message of the day For players with group staff chat access.
/groupcountd <seconds> <reason> Creates a group countdown /groupcountd 0 cancels it.
/groupreward Rewards group members with money Members are notified.
/gpoll Starts a group poll Duration can be 15 to 1200 seconds. Vote with /agp yes or /agp no.
/groupscores Opens group scores Also has an F6 Group Scores button.

New player group reward

Groups can receive group bank money when recruited new players play up to 20 hours. This only works if the player has not registered another account already. Enable Notify me of New Players; accounts on this PC: 1 means the reward is available.

The first hour pays $50,000, then scales down until it reaches $0 at 20 hours.

Start

Goal What to use
Open group, squad, and unit panel F6 or /groupsquadunit
Create a group F6 and the create group option

A new group starts with 10 member slots. Each extra group slot costs $50,000, and the cap is 90 slots.

Groups need at least 2 members to avoid deletion.

F6 group tools

The F6 Group tab can show:

  • Group Level
  • job name
  • turf color
  • vehicle shaders
  • skin shaders
  • online players
  • total players
  • Graffiti

It can also open group scores, group stats, group reward, group history, group members, group bank, group applications, group job, and group ranks if your rank has permission.

Main group systems

Helping new players

Groups can earn money when recruited new players increase playtime up to 20 hours. The money is deposited to the group bank account.

This only works if the player has not registered another account already.

The first hour pays $50,000, then the payout scales down until it reaches $0 once the new player has been playing for 20 hours.

To know if the reward is available, enable Notify me of New Players. If the message says accounts on this PC: 1, the reward is available for that player.

Colors and map display

Members with permission can use:

  • /turfcolor <R G B>
  • /groupchatcolor <R G B>

RGB values go from 0 to 255. In LV, turf color changes are limited to 2 times per month.

Group and alliance member names on F11 can be changed in /settings.

Daily Top Group Rewards

Daily top group rewards are paid as group bank deposits to the top 5 groups in each category.

F6 group, squad, and unit panel details

The F6 Group tab includes visible buttons for:

Group invite notes:

  • players who are already in a group cannot be invited as normal groupless players
  • offline invites can use the account name invite box

The F6 Unit tab shows:

  • online count
  • total count
  • offline count
  • unit controls
