Barrier Command Usage in CIT

The /barrier command allows authorized players to place barriers, and the /removebarrier command removes them. To use these commands, you must be a part of specific teams or have certain roles.


Command Overview

  • Place a Barrier: /barrier ID (1-20)
  • Remove a Barrier: /removebarrier ID or /removebarrier all to remove all barriers.
  • List Available Barriers: /barriers (Shows all barriers you can place).

Authorized Teams and Roles for Barrier Usage

  1. Criminal Boss
    • Every Criminal Boss has the ability to place barriers to assist in criminal riots, events, etc.
  2. Police Chief
    • Every Police Chief has the ability to place barriers to assist the law side, such as blocking off areas for control, etc.
  3. State Official
    • Every State Official has access to place barriers.
  4. Member of Any Official Criminal Group
    • Members of official criminal groups can place the following barriers: 1, 5, 6, 7, 8.
  5. Member of Any Official/Semi-Official Law Group
    • Members of official or semi-official law groups can place the following barriers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.
  6. Donator Level 3 (DL3)
    • Police Officers with Donator Level 3 can use: /barrier 1, 6, 9, 10, 11.
    • Criminals with Donator Level 3 can use: /barrier 5 - 11.

Restrictions on Barrier Usage

  • Barriers Cannot Be Placed in LS Turfs: Barriers cannot be placed in Los Santos turfs.
  • Barrier Removal by Staff: Staff, PCs, SO’s, and CB’s can remove barriers placed by players by pressing Num_3 and clicking on the barrier.
  • Playtime Restriction: Barriers cannot be used by players with less than 500 hours of playtime, regardless of their role (cop, criminal, gangster).
  • Criminal Events: Police Chiefs and Criminal Bosses are allowed to place barriers inside criminal events.

Rules for Barrier Placement

  • Placing barriers that block access to something or someone or placing barriers in an unrealistic or unfair way is against the rules and may result in punishments.
