CIT Settings

CIT Settings is the main server-specific settings menu in CIT. Players use it to change HUD options, graphics, audio, gameplay helpers, alerts, binds, radar behavior, group-related display settings, and many other CIT-specific features.

To open it, use:

/settings

Overview

The CIT settings menu is separate from the standard MTA client settings.

  • Use /settings for CIT-specific settings
  • Use ESC > Settings for standard MTA client settings

The CIT settings menu includes categories for things like:

  • HUD
  • Binds
  • FPS
  • Shader Graphics
  • Sounds and Music
  • Radar and Mini-Map
  • Group, Alliance, and Squad
  • Spawning and Heist
  • CITPhone
  • Miscellaneous
  • LV settings
  • Custom Titles
  • Seasons
  • Drug display
  • Combat helpers
  • Respawn settings

How to open and use CIT Settings

To open the menu, type:

/settings

You can use the search box to find a setting by:

  • setting name
  • category name

If you search for a category, the results can show the whole category and the settings inside it.

CIT Settings vs MTA Settings

CIT has its own settings menu, but standard MTA settings are still available through:

ESC > Settings

Use ESC > Settings for standard MTA client options like:

  • Multiplayer
  • Binds
  • Controls
  • Interface
  • Web Browser
  • Advanced

Use /settings for server-specific CIT features and gameplay options.

Binds and key settings

The Binds tab in /settings is used for CIT script binds.

It includes grouped sections such as:

  • Weapon Binds
  • Respawn Binds
  • Function Keys
  • Vehicle Binds
  • General Binds
  • Interaction Binds
  • Job / Activity Binds

Each row shows:

  • the bind name
  • the current key in the Value column

You can double click a bind to set a new key.

Bind editing details:

  • double click with `LMB` to set `Key 1`
  • double click with `RMB` to set `Key 2`
  • the menu shows `Key 2` when an alternative key is set
  • if the primary and secondary bind are the same, they fall back to `Key 1`

The CIT binds menu also supports:

  • secondary key binds

If you accidentally unbind an important CIT script key, reconnecting resets your binds to default. You can also fix binds manually in:

ESC > Settings > Binds

Standard movement and base MTA controls should still be changed in:

ESC > Settings > Binds
