Civilian Jobs
Civilian Jobs are the work based jobs on the Civilian side in CIT. They are the main way civilians earn money through non combat gameplay such as transport, delivery, mining, farming, repairs, public service, and other utility work.
This page is a summary page. Each job has its own separate page for detailed instructions.
How to use civilian jobs
Use /jobs or F3 to browse jobs. Stand on a civilian job marker in the Employment Office to open the job GUI when that job has a marker there.

| Job radio | /r talks to players working the same supported job.

| GPS cleanup | Job GPS waypoints are removed when you quit that job. |
| Rapid Transport | Some civilian jobs restrict Rapid Transport. News Reporter may not use Rapid Transport.

| Video tutorials | Civilian jobs can have video tutorials in F3 and at job markers.
|
| Random double XP | Every 50 to 100 hours, a random civilian job gets double XP. Miner, Hunter, Farmer, Mechanic, Medic, and Lumberjack are excluded.

Civilian Jobs are for players who want non law, non criminal work.

What Civilian Jobs are
Civilian Jobs are non combat jobs where players earn money by working.
They include activities such as:
- deliveries
- passenger transport
- cargo transport
- mining
- farming
- fishing
- hunting
- repairs
- utility work
- emergency and service jobs

Job systems
Job info board
While working, the civilian job info board appears at the bottom left of the screen and shows job specific information.
This can be adjusted in:
/settings
Job radio
Some civilian jobs use:
/r [message]
This is the job radio channel for players working the same job.
Not every civilian job has job radio.
Job vehicle spawn blips
Job vehicle spawners use map blips:
- regular job vehicles use a grey car blip
- boats use an anchor blip
- planes use a plane blip
Their visibility can be changed through settings.
GPS behavior
If a civilian job sets a GPS waypoint, that waypoint is removed when you quit the job.
Rapid Transport during jobs
Civilian job Rapid Transport restrictions are enabled again.
Civilian job levels
Civilian jobs have their own level progression.
Promotion rewards are the same for all civilian jobs:

| Level 10 | $500,000 |
Many civilian jobs also unlock a direct /go Job Name shortcut at Level 10.
