Earning Money

Earning Money in CIT can be done through civilian jobs, law work, criminal activity, gangster activity, trading, crafting, challenges, events, and some property-based methods.

Civilian jobs

Civilian jobs are one of the main ways to make money.

Job How it pays Main details
Trucker Cash or selected reward Haul cargo long distance. Rewards can include hemp, herbs, explosives, meat, wheat, engine parts, chemicals, and money.
Bus Driver Cash Run passenger routes in `LS` and `SF`. You are paid after every 5th stop.
Train Driver Cash or resources Transport passengers with `Tram` or `Streak`, or move resources with `Freight`.
Taxi Driver Cash Pick up passengers and deliver them. VIP clients pay extra if delivered quickly.
Pizza Boy Cash Deliver pizzas to marked houses with a `Pizzaboy` scooter or `Pizza Tug`.
Paper Boy Cash Ride a bicycle and deliver newspapers to houses.

Police Medic side mission `Police Medic` can do the revive side mission used by medics.

Criminal income

Criminals mainly make money through robberies, missions, drugs, and criminal events.

Store Robbery Criminal reward Aim at the shopkeeper to rob the store.
ATM Robbery Criminal reward Use /robatm.
Armed Robbery Cash, drugs, or materials Join an active `AR` by aiming at the robbery ped.
Criminal Events Cash, RP, and sometimes drugs Join the active `CE` with /ce.
Van Heist Criminal reward Part of the `CE` cycle. Criminals hijack and deliver a van.
Drug Running Drugs Start on an allowed bike, pick up drugs, and deliver them.
Drug Trafficking Drugs Use a boat, load drugs at the dock, deliver them to the sea marker, then return.

House Robbery rewards

House Robbery can give:

  • $1,800 to $3,500 cash and `120 RP`
  • or `40` to `60` drugs and `120 RP`

Armed Robbery rewards

The base `AR` reward is:

  • $34,500
  • `100g` of a random drug except weed

Some `AR` spots pay materials instead:

Gangster income

Gangster income mainly comes from turf systems and gangster-side activities.

Turfing Turfing gives money, `Oil`, `Iron`, or `Drugs`.
Briefcase Pick up the briefcase and run it on foot to the van blip.
LS Hijack mission Join gangster side in `LS`, enter the hijack vehicle, and deliver it.
Weed Farm Harvest weed, then sell it through `F7`.
Group rewards Gangsters can also make money from group rewards.

F7 trading

`F7` is one of the biggest money systems in CIT.

You can sell many items through `F7`, including:

  • resources
  • drugs
  • weapons
  • ammo
  • crafted items
  • `VIP` hours
  • `VIP` levels
  • tag colors
  • house slots

If you list an item at the minimum price:

  • `AI Trader` buys it automatically after about `10` seconds

`F9` crafting can turn materials into items that can be used or traded.

Examples:

  • `Gold` can be sold or used for `Diamond Wedding Ring`, `Satchel`, and `Jack-o'-lantern of Healing`
  • `Meat` can be sold or used for `Meat Feast` and `Banquet`
  • mined materials can be turned into ammo, throwables, and other crafted items
  • crafted items can then be traded through `F7`

Property-based value

Houses

A house can be sold to another player.

To sell it:

  • press Z at the house
  • set the asking price
  • click Toggle House Sale

A house cannot be sold back to the server.

Basements

A basement costs:

  • $10,000,000

A basement lets you grow `Kenaf`.

Full basement output:

  • `35` plants
  • each mature plant gives `9` Kenaf
  • a full harvest gives `315` Kenaf
  • a full harvest can become `21` Kevlar for armor crafting

Important note:

  • `Kenaf` cannot be sold or transferred directly

The value comes from:

  • using it for armor crafting
  • turning materials into tradable crafted value

CITy Zones

`CITy Zones` can also be sold back to the server.

To sell a zone:

  • stand inside it
  • use /cityzonesell
