Occupations

Occupations in CIT include the main sides, civilian jobs, specialist law jobs, special criminal jobs, the Roleplayers team, and some special in-game roles.

This page is only a short overview page. Each major occupation has its own wiki page for full details.

Main Sides and Teams

Occupation Type How to enter Short description
Civilian Main side F3 or /jobs The non-combat work side. It is used for civilian jobs and general money-making.
Criminal Main side /criminal The robbery and wanted side. Criminals do robberies, criminal missions, ARs, and CEs.
Gangster Main side /gangster or X > Go Gangster The turf and group-fight side. Gangsters focus on turfs, Briefcases, LS Hijack, and gangster PvP.
Police Officer Main side / law job /lspd or the LSPD / SFPD marker The main law occupation. Police track wanted players, arrest or kill them, and join law-side events.
Roleplayers Special team /roleplay The roleplay team. It currently supports civilian worker jobs only.

Police and Law Occupations

Police Officer LSPD or SFPD, or /lspd The basic law occupation.
Traffic Officer Unlock at 50 arrests, then take the job, or use /go Traffic Officer at 100,000 Arrest Points Police speed-enforcement job focused on cameras and /stinger.
Police Detective Unlock at 150 arrests, or use /go Police Detective at 100,000 Arrest Points Murder-investigation police job based on clues, photos, and suspects.
Bomb Disposal Unlock at 300 arrests, or use /go Bomb Disposal at 100,000 Arrest Points Police bomb-defusal job where you clear enemies and solve bomb puzzles.
Police Medic Police station or /go Police Medic if the police side is unlocked Police-side medic occupation. It can also do the revive side mission.
Gang Intervention Unit (GIU) Inside LSPD, or use /go giu if you have access to law /go commands Specialized police job focused on gang intervention and LS turf conflicts.

Mechanic F3 or /jobs Vehicle service occupation for repairs, painting, and scrapping.

Cave Miner F3 or /jobs Cave blasting and mining occupation for materials like iron, oil, chemicals, ore, sulfur, and explosives.

Special In-Game Roles

Role How it works Short description
Police Chief Not taken like a normal job; given by its own team or board Law-side leadership role that helps police officers and coordinates law activity.
Criminal Boss Not taken like a normal job; given by its own team or board Criminal-side leadership role that guides criminals and organizes activities like Cop Hunts and riots.
State Official Not taken like a normal job; uses /goso once assigned Civilian representative role that helps civilian workers and hosts civilian events.

Notes

  • Occupation in CIT can mean a side, a job, a specialist role, or a special team
  • Civilian has the largest number of occupations
  • Roleplayers is a separate team and currently supports civilian worker jobs only
  • some roles such as Police Chief, Criminal Boss, and State Official are special roles, not normal public jobs
