Occupations

Occupations in CIT include the main sides, civilian jobs, specialist law jobs, special criminal jobs, the Roleplayers team, and some special in game roles.

This page gives a short summary. Each major occupation has its own wiki page for full details.

Use F3 to browse civilian jobs and start them when available. Players with less than 20 playtime hours can use /jobs to teleport to the civilian jobs area.

Main Sides and Teams

Civilian	Main side	`F3`	The non combat work side. It is used for civilian jobs and general money making.
Criminal	Main side	`/criminal`	The robbery and wanted side. Criminals do robberies, criminal missions, `ARs`, and `CEs`.
Gangster	Main side	`/gangster` or `X > Go Gangster`	The turf and group fight side. Gangsters focus on turfs, Briefcases, `LS` Hijack, and gangster PvP.
Police Officer	Main side / law job	Blue law job marker at LSPD or SFPD; `/lspd` warps players under `20` hours to LSPD.	The main law occupation. Police track wanted players, arrest or kill them, and join law side events.
Roleplayers	Special team	`/roleplay`	The roleplay team. It currently supports civilian worker jobs only.

Police and Law Occupations

Occupation	How to enter	Short description
Police Officer	Blue law job marker at LSPD or SFPD; `/lspd` warps players under `20` hours to LSPD.	The basic law occupation.
Traffic Officer	Unlocks at Police `Level 2` (`50` arrests). Take the job at its marker in LSPD, or use `/go Traffic Officer` at `100,000` Arrest Points	Police speed enforcement job focused on cameras and `/stinger`.
Police Detective	Unlocks at Police `Level 3` (`150` arrests). Take the job at its marker in LSPD, or use `/go Police Detective` once it is unlocked	Murder investigation police job based on clues, photos, and suspects.
Bomb Disposal	Unlocks at Police `Level 4` (`300` arrests). Take the job at its marker in LSPD, or use `/go Bomb Disposal` once it is unlocked	Police bomb defusal job where you clear enemies and solve bomb puzzles.
Police Medic	Police station or `/go Police Medic` if the police side is unlocked	Police side medic occupation. It can also do the revive side mission.
Gang Intervention Unit	Inside `LSPD`, or use `/go giu` if you have access to law `/go` commands	Specialized police job focused on gang intervention and `LS` turf conflicts.

Civilian Occupations

Trucker	`F3`	Long distance cargo and resource hauling between cities.
Bus Driver	`F3`	Passenger route transport job. Besides Los Santos and San Fierro routes, it has City Island routes, county routes, a Dangerous route through Las Venturas, and a Desert route.
Train Driver	`F3`	Train transport job for passengers and resource freight.
Taxi Driver	`F3`	Passenger transport job using taxis.
Pizza Boy	`F3`	Food delivery job where you deliver pizzas to houses.
Paper Boy	`F3`	Bicycle delivery job for newspapers in LS and SF.
Delivery Man	`F3`	Parcel delivery occupation using delivery vehicles.
Pilot	`F3`	Air transport and delivery occupation using planes and helicopters.
Firefighter	`F3`	Fire and rescue occupation with fire calls and a Fire Truck side mission.
Paramedic	`F3`	Healing and revive occupation for injured players.
Mechanic	`F3`	Vehicle service occupation for repairs, painting, and scrapping.
Iron Miner	`F3`	Mining occupation focused on iron extraction.
Cave Miner	`F3`	Cave mining occupation for Iron, Gold, and Explosives. Sulfur is an ore type that yields Explosives, not a separate inventory resource.
LS Miner	`F3`	East Los Santos mining occupation for iron, gold, explosives, and chemicals.
Space Miner	`F3`	Space mining occupation for iron, gold, oil, and chemicals.
Farmer	`F3`	Crop farming occupation for herbs, hemp, pumpkins, and wheat.
Fisherman	`F3`	Fishing occupation from land or from a Reefer boat. River Fisherman is the land-side mission and shares Fisherman level and progress.
Hunter	`F3`	Hunting occupation where you track and kill deer for meat.
Lumberjack	`F3`	Tree cutting occupation for money and progression.
Waste Manager	`F3`	Garbage collection occupation using a Trashmaster.
Electrician	`F3`	Electrical and network repair occupation around San Andreas.
Street Cleaner	`F3`	Road and park cleaning occupation using a Sweeper.
City Engineer	`F3`	Construction and repair occupation for roads, buildings, and city utilities.
Crane Operator	`F3`	Dock occupation where you load and unload containers at Easter Basin Harbor.
Butcher	`F3`	Meat processing occupation in San Fierro.
Street Food Seller	`F3`	Food selling occupation using `/sellfood` and wheat.
Ice Cream Man	`F3`	Ice cream selling occupation using a `Mr. Whoopee`.
News Reporter	`F3`	Photography and reporting occupation based on marked targets.
Software Developer	`F3`	Coding occupation where you fix, debug, and optimize broken scripts.
Fuel Transporter	`F3`	Long distance fuel delivery occupation using a Flatbed.

Special In Game Roles

Police Chief	Not taken like a normal job; given by its own team or board	Law side leadership role that helps police officers and coordinates law activity.
Criminal Boss	Not taken like a normal job; given by its own team or board	Criminal side leadership role that guides criminals and organizes activities like Cop Hunts and riots.
State Official	Not taken like a normal job; uses `/goso` once assigned	Civilian representative role that helps civilian workers and hosts civilian events.
