Help Panel (F1)

The Help Panel (F1) is the main in game information window in CIT. It is opened with F1 and is used for help, documentation, updates, daily top lists, online player statistics, and group score rankings.

You can also open it with:

  • /info

The window title is:

  • Help info

F1 is separate from /help, which opens the command list GUI.

Fast help options

Option Use Notes
F1 or /help Opens the help and rules panel. Use it for basic help, rules, player stats, and scores.
/ask Opens AI support in game. You can also use the Help tab in F1 and press Enter or click Ask.
View Wiki Opens the CIT Wiki. The wiki main page is https://citwiki.com/index.php/Main_Page.
Clear Chat Clears the current bot chat. This is for the CITBot chat in the help panel.
J > Support or /sup [question] Asks normal gameplay support questions. Use Contact Admin for serious private issues.

Main Tabs

Tab What it does

Updates Shows recent in game update notes
Today's Tops Shows daily player leaderboard categories
Players Shows online player statistics by location, team, and occupation
Scores Shows group rankings for Law, Criminal, Civilian, LV, and LS
Close Closes the panel

Help Tab

The Help tab contains the in game CITBot GUI.

Help tab functions include:

  • asking CITBot a question
  • opening the wiki
  • clearing the current bot chat

The Help tab includes:

  • a large chat or answer area
  • a text box at the bottom
  • an Ask button
  • a View Wiki button
  • a Clear Chat button

The player flow is:

  1. open F1
  2. stay on the Help tab
  3. type your question in the box
  4. press Enter or click Ask

Extra notes:

  • CITBot is inside the F1 window
  • CITBot can use the current chat context, but works best when each question includes enough context on its own

The Help tab also warns that CITBot can make mistakes and suggests using:

  • /sup
  • J > Support
  • /helpme

Use those options when the bot answer is not enough.

Documentation Tab

The Documentation tab is the searchable in game documentation viewer.

The Documentation tab includes:

  • a keyword search box
  • a scrollable question list on the left
  • a large answer area on the right

The search prompt gives examples such as:

  • vehicle

The documentation list is grouped into sections such as:

  • General
  • Job

Updates Tab

The Updates tab shows recent in game update notes in a scrollable list.

To use it:

  • open F1
  • open the Updates tab
  • read recent in game update notes

The Updates tab shows update entries arranged by date, including entries such as:

  • Tuesday April 14th 2026
  • Sunday April 12th 2026
  • Saturday April 11th 2026

Update entries can include lines such as:

  • fixes
  • new features
  • event announcements
  • balance changes
  • map changes
  • quality of life changes

Today's Tops Tab

The Today's Tops tab is the daily player leaderboard panel.

It shows:

  • Statistic
  • current top Player
  • My Score
  • Yesterday's Top
  • My Yesterday

The list is grouped into sections such as:

The Scores tab is the group ranking panel.

It has separate tabs for:

  • Law
  • Criminal
  • Civilian
  • LV
  • LS

The Scores tab uses columns for:

  • Group
  • Reputation Points
  • Position

This tab is used for live score rankings for:

  • law groups
  • criminal groups
  • civilian groups
  • LV groups
  • LS groups

Related command notes:

  • /groupscores can show group scores
  • Yesterday's Scores can be opened there for the previous day

AI Support Shortcut

/ask opens AI support in game.

The Help tab also has Ask, View Wiki, and Clear Chat buttons.
